What is steve ensminger?

Steve Ensminger is a retired American football coach and former player. He was born on July 15, 1958 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ensminger played college football at Louisiana State University as a quarterback from 1976 to 1979.

After his playing career, Ensminger began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Louisiana State University in 1982. He went on to coach at several different colleges and universities, including McNeese State, Texas A&M, Clemson, and Georgia before returning to LSU as the tight ends coach in 2010.

Ensminger eventually became the offensive coordinator for LSU and served in that role from 2018 until December 2020, when he announced his retirement. During his time as offensive coordinator, LSU had one of the most explosive offenses in college football, leading the Tigers to a national championship in the 2019 season.
